$30 Million Apprioprated for Childhood Cancer

The forces of the childhood cancer advocates have been successful!   Calls to Congress on behalf of the smallest cancer patients were heard LOUD & CLEAR!

    

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!

    $30M has been appropriated for cancer research within the Department of Defense. Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program now reads in part:  "cancer of children, adolescents and young adults receive priority funding from the pre-existing Peer-Reviewed Cancer Research Program...

            

OTHER EXCITING NEWS    

     Today, May 25, Tim was invited to be part of a National conference call from Vice President, Joe Biden, regarding his MOONSHOT cancer initiative.  Vice President Biden talked about the time being now for all of us to aggregate the cancer community and come together as one to change the face of cancer in our world.
