The Brenham Police Department is honoring the legacy of one of its own and carrying on the tradition of its annual No Shave November Fundraiser to benefit Adam's Angels Ministry.  This is the fourth year the department has encouraged its employees to participate garnering sponsorships and donations.

Last year the department raised $7,287 which local attorney Robbie Gail Charette matched for a total of  the $14,574, the highest amount donated in the local No Shave November fundraiser's history.  This year, the department hopes to honor Traelan Nickerson's memory, who passed away on November 27th of last year at the age of 15.

Citizens and businesses are encouraged to participate in this fundraiser by sponsoring an officer or simply donating.  Individuals interested in giving back can sponsor an individual officer of official participating or make a contribution.
